Kimberly Slagle, LMFT

Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist. Relationship Coach. Premarital Therapist. Discernment Counselor.

Sometimes life brings challenges we are unprepared to cope with. My goal is to help you work through these challenges and live a life worth celebrating.

I believe the potential for growth lies within all of us, and that we're all striving to lead meaningful lives. If you're looking to add more balance to your life and relationships, but don't know where to start, I can help.

What Do I Specialize In?

I especially like helping couples who want more intimacy and shared understanding in their relationship, but feel stuck because of differences in needs and poor communication choices.

I teach them how to eliminate defensiveness and blame from their conversations, compromise around difficult issues, and build new rituals of connection that will not only restore passion into their everyday lives, but inspire a culture of ongoing appreciation, fondness, and respect.

After 17 years of marriage (and counting!), becoming a parent (twice!), and working with hundreds of couples as a marriage counselor, I understand how important yet stressful relationships can be. I also know that it's possible to turn your differences into opportunities for growth and connection! I'd like to try and help your relationship heal, and help you both feel happier individually and as a couple.

Is my style right for you?

My therapy style is empathic, yet results driven and solution-focused in nature. In other words, I'll work hard to understand and validate your struggle, but I'll also challenge you to change what’s no longer working and be the best version of 'you' you can be.

I work best with people who are motivated to learn, and committed to creating happier, healthier, and more balanced relationships with themselves and their loved ones. Are you one of these people? If so, contact me today so we can talk more about my services and I how I might be of assistance to you.
